Artwork Goes On Show At Offices
Designer/artist Hazel Burnham is now displaying her work at the premises of TurnerWarran in Bridge Street, Brigg.
The accountants and business advisers had approached the Ropewalk in Barton-Upon-Humber, where Hazel is based, to ask if any artists would like to show their work at the Brigg premises. Managing partner Kevin Turner said: “We have this fabulous building which is old but with a modern feel and we were looking to support local art in whatever way we could.”
All the works on display will be available for sale and, with hundreds of clients visiting the premises, the displays are seen as an ideal opportunity both to add interest to the building and promote Hazel’s work at the same time.
Initially six kiln-fired works are on display – four representing cityscapes, one with an ocean theme and one with a more rural theme.
Hazel has been working as a designer/artist in glass since 2004 and has been at the Ropewalk for two-and-a-half years.
She said: “This is a very welcome opportunity to display my work and I’d like to thank TurnerWarran for that.”
