Marathon Effort Taken Into Account
It is more than enough for one person to do one marathon, but this wasn’t enough for Steve Warran of TurnerWarran Accountants and Business Advisers in Scunthorpe.
Steve ran the London Marathon on April 13, completing the course in just over four hours. However, he also ran the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25, both in aid of the Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Steve will also be taking part in a 42-mile ‘Lightweight Run’ across country in July. Steve said: “I like to keep fit and healthy and run as much as I can. Combining something I enjoy doing with a very worthy cause like the Lindsey Lodge Hospice makes it all worthwhile.”
Previously, Steve has run the Paris marathon twice, has also been to Florida, where he did the ‘Goofy Challenge’, which is a half-marathon on the Saturday and then a full marathon on the Sunday.
Kevin Turner, of the company’s Brigg office, will be running the Humber Bridge half-marathon on Sunday, June 29.
